Defenders: The obstinate testimony

Defending human rights is a high risk activity in the world today, because telling the truth to those in power means facing governments and political elites, economic forces and military. This project gives recognition to 30 people from all over the world who stand out for defending human rights. Support defenders of human rights is a priority for Amnesty International.
